About Us

The Picea Group’s main area of activity is forestry – one branch of which is growing and sale of Christmas trees (Norway spruce- Picea abies).
We planted our first stands of Christmas trees for this purpose in 2006. We grow Christmas trees from ordinary fir cuttings that we source from our own nursery. We choose only the finest cuttings for our trees. Ensuring that a tiny little fir cutting grows into a proper Christmas tree takes a lot of time and effort. They have to be properly cared for over a number of years, including trimming them into shape.
